Trackcor’s standing

Authorised Enerpac distributor and authorised Enerpac service centre

Being an authorised service centre is a different thing from selling a brand. It means genuine parts, the manufacturer’s repair procedure, and the test equipment to prove the tool meets specification before it goes back. For an operation in Zambia it means something more practical still: warranty and repair work happens here rather than on the far side of a border.

What Trackcor does with Enerpac equipment

  • Supply, with specification advice before the order rather than warranty conversations after it
  • Authorised service and repair, using genuine parts
  • Calibration of hydraulic torque wrenches, tested as a matched set with their pump and gauge
  • Cylinder and jack reseal and load testing to rated capacity
  • Service contracts and managed tooling covering Enerpac fleets
  • Operator training on safe hydraulic bolting practice

Wrench and pump are one instrument

A hydraulic torque wrench does not read torque. It reads pressure, and a chart converts that pressure to torque for that specific wrench. Swap the pump, swap the gauge, or let either drift, and the number on the dial stops meaning what the operator thinks it means, with the wrench itself in perfect condition.

This is why Trackcor calibrates the wrench and its pump together and certifies them as a set. It is also why a site that pools pumps and wrenches from a common store needs to think carefully about how it does that.

Common questions

Is Trackcor an authorised Enerpac service centre?

Yes. Trackcor is both an authorised Enerpac distributor and an authorised Enerpac service centre in Zambia, so supply, service, repair and calibration are all carried out in country.

Do repairs use genuine Enerpac parts?

Yes. Authorised service centre status means genuine parts and the manufacturer’s procedure, with the tool proved on test before it is returned.

Should a hydraulic torque wrench be calibrated with its pump?

Yes. The wrench converts pressure to torque through a chart specific to that tool, so the wrench, the pump and the gauge are one measuring system and should be certified as a set.
